Alexander Kalinin, born in Moscow, Russia, embarked on his dance journey at the age of 4, guided by his father. Graduating from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy of Moscow, he evolved into a soloist, captivating audiences in over 60 countries. As a choreographer, he has crafted numerous pieces, including Russian Pereplias for the Academy of Bolshoi Ballet, and Caviar for the Marco Polo Hotel in Miami. One of his most renowned creations is Trepak for the Los Angeles Classical Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker. In Southern California, he is a regular performer with various ballet companies, showcasing his versatility in roles like Sancho Panza in Don Quixote and Carabosse in The Sleeping Beauty with FBT.
