Shelly Berg, a Steinway piano artist, boasts five Grammy nominations for his arranging, orchestrating, and producing talents. His forthcoming album Alegría, featuring Carlitos Del Puerto and Dafnis Prieto, promises to captivate audiences upon its June 2024 release via ArtistShare. Previous works like "Gershwin Reimagined: An American in London" and collaborations with jazz luminaries like Lorraine Feather and Gloria Estefan have garnered critical acclaim and Grammy recognition. Berg's versatility shines through his collaborations with Tony Bennett, Steve Miller, and other renowned artists, showcasing his prowess as an arranger, orchestrator, and producer. He also holds leadership roles as the artistic director of The Jazz Cruise and advisor for the Jazz Roots series. As an esteemed educator for over 40 years, Berg serves as Dean at the Frost School of Music, University of Miami, having previously held positions at the University of Southern California. Recognized for his contributions to jazz education, he has received numerous accolades, including the Educator of the Year award from the Los Angeles Jazz Society.
