Joe is in his 22nd season as the “Voice of the Reds” at Great American Ball Park, joining the organization when they moved to their new home for the 2003 season. 

After a 30 plus year career in the Cincinnati radio broadcasting community, he became involved in live sports announcing at venues around the region, spending 10 years as the public address announcer for University of Cincinnati football & basketball, including NCAA conference championship basketball tournaments, and announcing NASCAR and IndyCar racing series events. In the fall of 2023 he was invited to be the stadium announcer for a first of its’ kind “Baseball Showcase,” held in Dubai, UAE.

 Joe has twice performed the classic baseball poem “Casey at the Bat” with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra at Music Hall.
