American soprano, Jamilyn Manning-White, praised by The New Yorker as "agile
and fiery", "vibrant and masterful" by Opera News, and "superb" by The New York Times, charms audiences on the operatic, theatre, and concert stages and is thrilled to be returning to the Hartford Symphony Orchestra.

She holds degrees from A.D.: Yale School of Music, MM: Arizona State
University, BM: Utah State University. When not performing, she enjoys teaching
voice at NYU Steinhardt, running, mentoring young, aspiring opera singers and
actors, finding gluten free treats, listening to jazz, and spending time with her
