Polish-American soprano Suzanne Lis has performed a wide variety of repertoire, from early music to world premieres for international audiences. She was most recently heard as Licida in a concert performance of Hasse’s L’Olimpiade at the Internationaler Steglitzer Tage für Alte Musik in Berlin, where she lives. Her previous credits include Sandrina in La finta giardiniera, Lucia in The Rape of Lucretia, Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance, and La Fée in Cendrillon. She frequently collaborates with composers and experimental performance groups, such as in her recent participation in the 1781 Collective’s sold-out Labyrinth performance series and her interpretation of the fiendishly difficult Vintage Alice by David del Tredici with the Texas-based orchestra Density512. Suzanne holds a degree from Tufts University in Somerville, Massachusetts in International Relations, Music, and French, as well as a Master’s degree in Voice Performance from the University of Texas at Austin. suzannelis.com. @suzanne.e.lis
