Emily Richter (Soprano) Emily Richter is an incoming first year Ryan Center Ensemble member at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. She recently completed two years as a Resident Artist with Pittsburgh Opera (2022-2024). Role highlights during that time include Iphigénie in Iphigénie en Tauride, Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro, Ma in Proving Up and Ginevra in Ariodante. This year, she made her Messiah debut with Seattle Symphony and her Verdi’s Requiem Debut with Westmoreland Symphony. Emily has spent her summers as a Young Artist at Santa Fe Opera, Central City Opera and Seagle Festival. She is a 2024 Grand Prize Winner for the Met Laffont Competition as well as a first prize winner of The Wirth Prize and The Mildred Miller Comeptition.
