Lucy Baker (Mezzo-Soprano) Lucy Baker is in her second year at the Ryan Opera Center at Lyric Opera of Chicago where she has appeared in concert as well as the role of Karolka (Jenufa). This summer, Lucy sang the role of Hänsel while she was a Fleming Artist at the Aspen Music Festival School, a role she debuted while at DePaul University. While pursuing her master’s at The Curtis Institute of Music, Lucy sang the roles of Ariodante, Dorabella (Così fan tutte), and Curtis on Tour with Eric Owens, performing Brahms’ Neue Liebeslieder-Waltzer. In 2022, Lucy was a fellow at the Ravinia Steans Music Institute. Lucy looks forward to making her debut with The Cleveland Orchestra as Jano (Jenufa) in 2025.
