Avani Spanier is a graduating senior of Bearden High School. She has been a violinist in the Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestras for 8 years and has been taking lessons from Mary-Ann Fennell for 10 years. She plans on attending the Georgia Institute of Technology to study Biomedical Engineering while in the Pre-Med program. She is extremely grateful for the guidance and experience provided by Mrs. Fennell and the KSYO staff and conductors. Additionally, she is grateful for her parents' continued financial and educational support throughout her music journey. She hopes to continue playing the violin as a hobby throughout her career.
