Emily Wankerl is a senior at Hardin Valley Academy. She has been a part of the Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestra Association for five years and is currently studying under Susan Shor. Emily recently attended the Tennessee Governor’s School for the Arts and is currently working under Abigail Hatala as an Assistant Orchestra Director at Cedar Bluff Middle School. This fall, Emily will be attending the University of Tennessee Knoxville, where she plans to pursue a double major in English and Viola Performance. She would like to thank all her family, friends, and teachers for their support and inspiration.
