Kate Wolfe is a senior at Halls High School. She has played the cello for four years under the instruction of John Fox and Jeanine Wilkensen. She has also been in KSYOA for four years. She has also played the piano for thirteen years under the instruction of Ms. Joan and Rachelle Hall. She is a proud member of the Halls High School Marching and Symphonic Bands where she has played the baritone for seven years. The Halls High School Bands are under the instruction of Tiffany Kimbro, Eric Baumgardner, and Ashley Sadler. Her hobbies include reading, music, and history. In college she hopes to join a student ensemble on one of her instruments. She plans to attend the University of the South or Sewanee in the fall, where she plans to major in Anthropology with a focus on Archaeology and Medieval Studies. She received a $28,000 Ecce Quam Bonum (EQB) yearly scholarship, as well as a $2000 year Music Fellowship from Sewanee.
