ALEX MERKEL (she/her, ensemble/Chava u/s) is so excited to be making her Chicago debut with Music Theater Works! She most recently made her regional debut in Milwaukee as "Dawn" in WAITRESS (Skylight Music Theater). Alex is a recent graduate from Marquette University. Favorite university credits include "Mrs. Lovett" in SWEENEY TODD, "Marcy Park" in THE 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, "7" in THE WOLVES, and "Lisa/Sophie U/S" in MAMMA MIA! Alex is very excited to be going back to the show she did in high school and would like to thank Music Theater Works and her incredible friends and family for all their love and support!
