Music Theater Works, founded in 1980, presents the full spectrum of musical theater, to create a bridge for all audiences from classic works to the present day; and to engage youth and community in music, theater, and the arts. The company was founded in 1980 as Light Opera Works by Bridget McDonough, Phillip Kraus, and others to present operettas. Productions in our 42 years have included operetta, musicals, revues, and concerts. Music Theater Works also has a robust program of community partnerships, CommunityREACH, and programs for young people, YouthREACH.
