EMILY TURNER (she/her, ASL Interpreter with Z Interpreting) hails from Columbus, Ohio, where she received a degree in Music Theater and Vocal Performance from Capital University. After moving to the Windy City, she attended Columbia’s ITP for ASL Interpretation. Emily has been working as a freelance interpreter and performing across the Chicago area for 8 years. Recent theatre interpreting credits include Broadway In Chicago (BEETLEJUICE, MOULIN ROUGE, HADESTOWN, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST), Chicago Shakespeare (BILLIE JEAN, 42 BALLOONS, SUNNY AFTERNOON, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, PERICLES, JUDGMENT DAY), Goodman Theater (ASHLAND AVENUE, ANTIQUITIES, BETRAYAL, INHERIT THE WIND, MIDNIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF GOOD AND EVIL, THE PENELOPIAD), and Steppenwolf Theatre (POTUS).
