EMMA JEAN EASTLUND (she/her, Bombalurina) is over the moon to make her PURRRincipal debut with Music Theater Works as “Bombalurina”, and even more delighted to share the MTW stage with her brother Ethan Lupp for the very first time. A Chicago-based performer and creative, Emma Jean has appeared most recently as “Velma Von Tussel” in HAIRSPRAY (Uptown Music Theater of Highland Park) and as “Hot Box Girl” in GUYS AND DOLLS (MTW),  among many others. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre with a MEOWminor in Dance from Millikin University. Beyond performing, Emma Jean recently wrote, directed, and PURRRduced her first original play, THE STORAGE CLOSET, which PURRRemiered with Danztheatre Ensemble as a heartfelt tribute to the women and artistry of GoGo dancing and a stepping-stone in her work as a theatre creator and producer. Emma Jean dedicates this PURRRformance to her family, wonderful husband Nic, and to her 5 fur babies, who have always supported Emma Jean’s love for playing on stage. Enjoy the PURRRformance!
