Roger Bingaman made his first appearance on the Music Theater Works podium in 1997, conducting The Merry Widow.  He was director of the apprentice program and chorus master at the Sarasota Opera in Sarasota, Florida from 1998 to 2019. “Bing” is the music director of Irving Park Lutheran Church and artistic director of the Irving Park Fine Arts Series; he is also choir director and organist at Ezra Habonim in Niles. Bing has worked with Lyric Opera’s Opera-in-the-Neighborhoods program, Michigan Opera Theatre, the Savoyaires, Milwaukee Opera Theater, Dayton Opera, Opera Lenawee and Opera Lafayette, among others.
