Alice Salazar has been a professional hairdresser, long hair dressing educator and freelance makeup artist for 20 years in the Chicago area. She turned her passion to wig design and received two wig certifications from DePaul University Theater School which led to her working in several companies in the Chicago area including Lyric Opera, Music Theater Works, Metropolis Theater, Haymarket Opera, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, and Northwestern University Opera school. She completed six UK tours with Chamber Opera Chicago, performing at Edinburgh Fringe and Jane Austen 200 in Winchester.
