is proud to be making her Music Theater Works debut. Born and raised in Massachusetts, Mai went on to study musical theatre at the University of New Hampshire in Durham. She worked at many theaters in the Seacoast area, starring as “Luisa” in The Fantasticks (Hackmatack Playhouse), “Percy” in The Spitfire Grill (Hackmatack Playhouse), and “Mimi Marquez” in Rent (Firehouse Center for the Arts). After graduating, she and her husband moved to Chicago, where she began working at Cabaret ZaZou (formerly known as Teatro ZinZanni). Not only does Mai love to be onstage, but she also loves to work backstage. She has a passion for puppetry and dialect work, which both lend themselves well to Avenue Q. She hopes you enjoy the show!
