(he/him) is a Chicago-based performance and street dancer, Tenor II, teaching artist, dance administrator, and an aspiring community leader. While not dancing or performing, you’ll find J. Ro either at the movies, scrolling on Tik Tok, or spending time with family dogs Spencer and Crimson. He started his dance journey with the Hip Hop ConnXion, and has been a performer and leader since 2008; and is a current co-captain of the Chicago Bulls 312 Crew (2018-present), Jus.Be House Collective (2017-present), and BraveSoul Movement Company (2018). J. Ro is also a previous guest artist with Chicago Dance Crash and Movement Revolution Dance Crew.
