(he/him) is a percussionist, pianist, conductor, and orchestrator. He is honored to be returning to Music Theater Works after having music directed Zorro last season. Recent credits include Spring Awakening, Broadway in your Backyard (Porchlight Music Theater, music director), Duke Ellington’s Sophisticated Ladies, Cabaret, Billy Elliot the Musical (Porchlight Music Theater, drums and percussion), Legends of the 50s and 60s, Mamma Mia!, Irving Berlin’sWhite Christmas (Music Theater Works, drums and keyboard), Kiss Me Kate (The Marriott Theater, drums), and Elf and A Chorus Line (Drury Lane Theater,  sub drums). He has also music directed at The Chicago College of Performing Arts and played in the house band for the 2022 Equity Jeff Awards. Justin also provides freelance keyboard programming, music engraving, video production and editing services, and music direction for area high schools including Libertyville High School and Nazareth Academy. Next up, he will be leading the band and playing drums in Mercury Theater's production of Rock of Ages, opening July 2023.
