Melanie Saso (she/her, hair/wig/makeup designer) is making her debut as a theatrical hair, wig and makeup designer for Music Theater Works. She has been a licensed cosmetologist and freelance hair artist for 13 years.  She moved to Chicago in 2019 to focus her career on creative hairdressing and wig design.  Her recent credits include styling for New York Fashion Week, being the key hairstylist on Invitation To A Murder a 2023 Lionsgate film, working with Chicago Opera Theatre, Northwestern University Opera-Bienen School of Music and Music Theater Works.
