Angie Rouse (Crystal, Warner) Angie is a rising freshman at New Trier High School. She has loved to perform ever since she was little and started taking dance lessons when she was two. Angie still dances as well as taking piano and voice lessons. She first joined Music Theater Works when she was about nine-years-old, and she did many shows in the summer with the Kids Company. Last year, for the Teen Production, Angie was in Pippin (Annalise/ With You Soloist). Recently, Angie has played Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins and Marian Paroo in The Music Man with Children’s Theater of Winnetka. She has just graduated from Carleton Washburne School where she was in a production of Sussical Jr. (Mayzie La Bird) and Broadway’s Unsung Heroes: a Musical Revue (Mama Rose). Angie intends to continue theater in high school and is very excited to be auditioning for Sussical the Musical again at New Trier. Angie would like to thank her parents and sister, Bella, for always encouraging and uplifting her. She would also like to thank all of her castmates for making this a great show.
