Ab Rieve (they/them, Props Designer) is originally from Maryland and is a recent graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a double major in theatre design and technology and illustration (2023). At Music Theater Works, they most recently designed props for 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (dir. Christopher Pazdernik) and worked as a wardrobe runner for BRIGADOON (dir. Sasha Gerritson), and SHREK:THE MUSICAL(dir. Johanna Miller). Outside of props and costumes, Ab has worked as a film production designer, scenic painter and carpenter, and dramaturg.
