Shane Cinal (he/him, Scenic Designer) is a scenic designer, artist,and educator who enjoys developing a thoughtful world through immersive scenery and innovation for theatre. Previous Music Theater Works design credits include: HOW TO SUCCEED…, LITTLE MERMAID, IRVING BERLIN’S WHITE CHRISTMAS and PIPPIN. Shane has received awards and accolades for productions of THE BOATMAS, ASSASSINS, THE JEDI HANDBOOK, and ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST. Shane has a strong background in new and conceptual works for theatre, opera and puppetry and recently with television, working as the set designer for FX’s “The Bear.” In addition to designing across the United States, he also designed the Emerging Artists Exhibit representing the United States at the Prague Quadrennial last summer 2023 in Prague. Shane holds a BA in theatre and in history from Indiana University- Bloomington and received his MFA in scenic design from The Ohio State University. W: shanecinal.com
