Anita Silvert is thrilled to take part in her first MTW production, after sitting in the audience for years. Previous favorite roles have been Frau Blucher (Young Frankenstein) Fraulein Schneider (Cabaret), Phyllis (Follies), Joanne (Company), Miss Hannigan (Annie), and Bubbe (Crossing Delancey). Anita spent 12  years as a touring and recording singer/songwriter,  and her song, "All Roads Converge" was the closing theme song for WFMT's “The Midnight Special” for five years. By day, an adult Jewish educator, she  hosts a podcast called "Verses: Where Broadway and Torah Meet,” available where one gets podcasts.
