Madeline Kreszenz, originally from Columbus, Ohio, began her training at Columbus Dance Theatre under the direction of Jaime Kotrba and Seth Wilson. She performed in a combination of classical and contemporary ballets and attended summer programs with the Joffrey Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, Kansas City Ballet, and Texas Ballet Theater. After attending Kansas City Ballet’s Summer Intensive in 2019, she was asked to stay and join their year round day school program. At Kansas City Ballet, she performed and trained under the leadership of Grace M. Holmes, Racheal Nye, and Artistic Director Devon Carney. After graduating from Kansas City Ballet’s daytime program in 2021, Madeline joined State Street Ballet in Santa Barbara, CA as a trainee. During her time with State Street Ballet, under the leadership of Rodney Gustafson, Marina Fliagina, Denise Grimm, and Megan Philipp she learned and performed a wide range of repertoire including Nutcracker, Paquita, Sleeping Beauty, and various contemporary works by choreographers including, William Soleau, Nicole Powell, Edgar Zendajas, and Meredith Ventura. Madeline is excited to be joining Ballet Quad Cities as a trainee for the 2022-2023 season!
