Madeline McLaughlin, originally from Temecula, California received most of her early training at the Academy of Ballet Arts and Temecula Ballet Company. She then continued on to study in the University of Utah’s ballet program, where she had the opportunity to perform a variety of classical works such as Swan Lake, La Filled Mal Gardée, and Hansel & Gretel, as well as original contemporary works by choreographers such as Matthew Neenan, Penny Saunders, and Rick McCullough. In 2019, she joined California Ballet Company as an apprentice, where she performed in Jared Nelson’s new Nutcracker, among other things. Madeline joined Ballet Quad Cities as a company member for the 2021/2022 season. She enjoyed the many performing opportunities last season, particularly her roles of the soldier doll in the Nutcracker and flamingo in Alice in Wonderland. Madeline is looking forward to another exciting season with Ballet Quad Cities!
