Isabelle Millet is originally from Leesburg, VA. where she began studying ballet at 6 years old. She became an apprentice with the Loudoun Ballet Company at age 13 and danced various roles in classical productions such as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and Giselle, as well as, “Clara” in the Nutcracker. At 15, she joined the Washington School of Ballet and trained under Xiomara Reyes in the Professional Training Program. There she enjoyed dancing alongside the Washington Ballet Company in Septime Webre’s Nutcracker. Isabelle was selected for the Suzanne Farrell Master Class Series at the Kennedy Center 2016-2019, in which she took part in both ballet and contemporary dance classes provided by companies such as, ABT, Mariinsky, and Alvin Ailey. Her training was strengthened by participating in various summer intensives which include Kaatsbaan, San Francisco Ballet and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Company Experience. She furthered her training at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre in the Graduate Program under the direction of Marjorie Grundvig from 2019-2021. In 2021 Isabelle joined Ballet Quad Cities and had a wonderful first year dancing in numerous outreach opportunities and performances. Some of her favorite works include The Nutcracker and Alice in Wonderland both choreographed by Courtney Lyon. She anticipates another great year, and is looking forward to what the 2022-2023 season will bring!
