Maryellen has enjoyed singing all her life, particularly performing at holiday parties with Greenwood Park Church of Christ, choirs at Living Hope Baptist Church and Oakland Baptist Church. Performance highlights include musical productions, Two from Galilee as Mary’s mother; Fiddler on the Roof as Grandma Tzeitel and villager; and, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever as Mrs. Armstrong. Becoming a member of The Golden Chorale afforded Maryellen the opportunity to be cast in this inaugural performance. Besides her love of music, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, camping, quilting, rock painting, and landscaping.
