Hannah Vanderpool holds a bachelor of music and German from Western Kentucky University. She is a classically trained soprano and cellist who studied for several years with Juilliard grad/ Metropolitan Opera alum Elizabeth Volkman. She has performed the roles of Josephine (HMS Pinafore), Eliza Dolittle (My Fair Lady), Anna (King and I), Laurie (The Tenderland), the daughter (Sunday Pages), a daughter of the Major General (Pirates of Penzance) Rose (Meet Me in Saint Louis), as well as various opera theatre roles. She recently joined Ramsey Theatre in the roles of Marie (Beauty and the Beast), Madame (Cinderella) and Miss Jane (Floyd Collins, the Musical). She enjoys singing with Orchestra Kentucky, and has performed in London, Paris, Zurich, Ljubljana, and Vienna. When she isn’t performing, she teaches third-graders at Holy Trinity Lutheran School. She finds that they make the best audience of all.
