Amanda Gardner originally hails from North Carolina, where her singing was lauded for its “richness, agility, and great range” (Classical Voice of North Carolina). Amanda's operatic roles have included Stephano (Roméo et Juliette), Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro), Mercedes (Carmen), Hansel (Hansel and Gretel), Prince Orlofsky (Die Fledermaus), Dido (Dido and Aeneas), Proserpina/La Musica (L’Orfeo), Edith (The Pirates of Penzance), and Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro).
In the concert arena, Amanda’s solo credits include Bach’s Mass in B minor, Ascension Oratorio and Ich bin vergnügt mit meine Glücke, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Mozart’s Coronation Mass and Vespers solennes de confessore, Haydn’s Missa in tempore belli and Missa Sancti Nicolai, and Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater.
Amanda received her Bachelor of Music from Salem College and her Master of Music degree from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
