Sébastien Labelle
The Janitor

Sébastien Labelle (he/him) is thrilled to return for a second year as the Janitor in Symphony Nova Scotia’s The Nutcracker. Sébastien is an accomplished performer who has worked with many of Nova Scotia’s most acclaimed companies including Mocean Dance, Matchstick Theatre, Halifax Theatre for Young People, Eastern Front Theatre, Villains’ Theatre, Zuppa, Workshirt Opera, Shakespeare By the Sea, 2b Theatre, and Two Planks and a Passion Theatre. Screen credits include Sullivan’s Crossing, The Good House, Chapelwaite, Diggstown, and Black Cop. Sébastien is also the Festival Director for Mayworks K’jipuktuk/Halifax and a creative collaborator for the River Clyde Pageant in Epekwitk (PEI). In a funny twist of fate, he also used to be a union organizer for SEIU Local 2 where he helped janitors form unions through the Justice for Janitors campaign. Always thank those who clean up after us and have a very merry holiday season!
