Ian Lane

Upon graduation from Virginia Tech, Ian Lane was accepted into The United States Army Chorus, the vocal counterpart to The United States Army Band, “Pershing’s Own.” As a member of the world’s most prestigious all male ensemble, he was a featured soloist across the nation, performing for audiences ranging from intimate gatherings of U.S. and foreign dignitaries at the White House, Capitol, Naval Observatory, and Joint Chiefs’ Quarters to many well-known and prestigious venues with audiences in the thousands. Favorite Riverside Center roles: Dave, The Full Monty (featuring Sally Struthers); Sir Bedevere/Mrs. Galahad, Monty Python’s SPAMALOT; Joey, Sister Act; Big Bopper, et. al., Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story; Samuel, The Pirates of Penzance; Abner Dillon, 42nd Street with Andrea McArdle; and Colonel Tom Parker in Heartbreak Hotel. A versatile performer, Mr. Lane is often a featured guest performer for various orchestras, choral societies, ceremonies, and special events. This performance is dedicated in loving memory to Sue Alexander, a teacher that changed his life.
