Welcome

Dear Friends,

Welcome to our 28th Season at The Riverside Center for the Performing Arts.  Each year, we gather stories that speak to who we are, where we’ve been, and what we dare to imagine together. This season is a celebration of music, mystery, laughter, and the enduring power of live performance—and we are thrilled to share it with you.

We begin with summer in the winter, a vibrant reminder of change, warmth, and possibility, setting the tone for a season that embraces both joy and reflection, as we turn up the heat and the volume with Summer, The Donna Summer Musical, a dazzling tribute to a legendary voice and the soundtrack of a generation.

Classic storytelling takes center stage with Little Women, The Musical, a heartfelt exploration of family, ambition, and finding one’s place in the world, followed by the irresistible charm and wit of Guys and Dolls, where love and luck collide on the streets of New York.

For lovers of suspense, The Mousetrap invites you into a timeless whodunit that keeps audiences guessing until the final moment. Then, we venture into darker territory with Sweeney Todd, a thrilling and powerful musical that challenges us to confront obsession, revenge, and the cost of injustice.

We close the season with a story that feels like coming home: A Christmas Carol, The Musical. It is our gift to you, a reminder of generosity, redemption, and the light we can bring to one another during the holiday season.

None of this is possible without you. Your presence in our audience completes the circle of storytelling, transforming words and music into shared experiences. Thank you for encouraging our artists, our staff, and the stories that bring us together.

As I always say, “We all get to do what we love to do here at Riverside because all of you love coming here to support us”.  Thanks for the vote of confidence.  Thanks for your generosity.  Thank you for supporting the live arts!

We look forward to welcoming you to the theater and sharing this unforgettable season with you.

With gratitude and excitement,
