Charter Member and Past President of the Fredericksburg Rappahannock Rotary Club.  Past Senior Warden and Vestry person at St. George’s Episcopal Church. Campaign Chairman and Past President of the Rappahannock United Way. Past Board member of the Board of Governor’s for the Rappahannock Area Community Foundation. Past Board member   of the Rappahannock Area United Way, Past President of the Virginia Association  of Orthodontists, Past Board member of the Fredericksburg Area Museum, Past Board Member of the Riverside Dinner Theater and Conference Center. Married to Linda Coker for 50 years. 3 Children, Tug, Lindsay, and Lorie. 8 Grandchildren, George, Susanna, Bo, Quinn Kannon, Cass, Caroline, and Coker. John and Linda are founding members of Riverside Dinner Theater and underwrote several of the Children’s Theater Productions.
