PJ Freebourn (Bob Crewe) (he/him) is honored to be working once again with Riverside! Most recently he was seen as Bud in The Bridges of Madison County (Riverside Center for the Performing Arts). Other recent roles include Dan in Next to Normal (Encore Theatre), Herr Detweiler in The Sound of Music (Mill Mountain Theatre), and opposite Sally Struthers as Rooster in Annie (Riverside Center for the Performing Arts). He also originated the dual role of Robert Todd/Madame Mentelle in the original musical production Mary Todd (Blue Grass Opera) in Lexington, KY. Favorite roles include Rach in Preludes (Firehouse Theatre), Abner Dillon in 42nd Street (Round Barn Theatre, IN), Morris Brummel in No Way TO Treat a Lady (ATBAB Rep), Lowly Worm in Busy Town (VA REP), Phra Alack in The King and I (Lyric Opera of Virginia), Pantalone in A Servant of Two Masters (Hallam Players). PJ lives in Richmond with the love of his life, Paige, where they serve as official groomers and string-manipulators to 3 demanding cats.
