Jim Lawson (Phil the Engineer) is pleased to be playing the role he was meant to play. After recently playing Kris Kringle in Miracle on 34th Street and Max in Grumpy Old Men at Riverside Center he is happy to return to They’re Playing Our Song in which he performed in a few productions of many moons ago. They’re Playing Our Song is one of his favorite shows and he’s delighted to “share the stage” with his wonderfully talented daughter, Barbara Breen. Jim has been seen at Riverside Center in many productions over the past 25 years including Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof, Pseudolus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way To the Forum, Edna in Hairspray, Dolittle in My Fair Lady and Vandergelder in Hello Dolly! opposite Sally Struthers. At Riverside Center Jim has directed Showboat, Annie Get Your Gun, and the History of the World – Abridged. Enjoy the show!
