CHRISTOPHER HUDERT (Master Carpenter) has spent over 50 years in and around theater, both on stage and behind the scenes. His diverse skill set includes script writing, sculpting, set and puppet construction, clowning, puppetry, stilt walking, juggling, acting, directing, and more. As a performer, he has played everywhere from living rooms to Madison Square Garden, touring across the country and Japan. For over 20 years he has been an integral part of Mooseburger Clown Arts Camp (MN), planning, writing, teaching, and coaching amateur and professional clowns. Christopher joins the Riverside Production Team as Master Carpenter, bringing to the table his experience building for Applause Unlimited, Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus, Kings Dominion, Studio Theater, Woolly Mammoth, and many others. The Wizard of Oz is Christopher’s first full show at Riverside, but he looks forward to working on many more shows here, passing on his knowledge to incoming generations in the Scene Shop and seeing those ideas come to light on stage.
