Frank Foster (Scenic Designer) is thrilled to return to Riverside Center. His most recent Riverside credits include They’re Playing our Song and Jersey Boys, and he was honored with Broadway World Awards for his Scenic Designs for 2023’s Ragtime and 2019’s Annie. Frank’s other Riverside credits include The Bridges of Madison County, 42nd Street, Joseph; Ghost, Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, Camelot, Bright Star, and Grumpy Old Men South Pacific, The Color Purple, On Golden Pond, and OKLAHOMA! He holds an MFA in Scenic Design from VCU and has designed scenery for several original productions, including Barter Theatre’s Huck Finn, Cumberland County Playhouse’s Funny, You Don’t Look Like A Grandmother, Playhouse on the Square’s production of A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline; and Richmond Triangle Players’ Stonewallin’. Frank’s regional credits include RTP’s Head Over Heels (RTCC Nomination), The Inheritance (RTCC Nomination), The Normal Heart, A Chorus Line, The Boy from Oz, La Cage aux Folles, Angels In America, Psycho Beach Party, and Cabaret (RTCC Nomination); Swift Creek’s Gaslight, Dracula and Cyrano de Bergerac; Virginia Repertory Theatre’s Beautiful (RTCC AWARD) and Steel Magnolias; Theatre IV’s The Music Man; Barksdale’s Blues In The Night; The Production Company’s August Snow; Cumberland County Playhouse’s Singing in the Rain; and numerous musicals at Richmond’s Dogwood Dell. Some of his favorite credits include Barnum, Drood, Big River, Little Shop Of Horrors, Footloose, Once Upon A Mattress, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Tommy, Godspell, and All Shook Up.
