is honored to be part of the relaunch of children’s theater at the Riverside Center! She studied vocal performance at East Tennessee State University and performed in many regional productions and tours. She has been part of the Fredericksburg theater community for 15 years and in that time has performed, taught, and directed on many local stages. At the Riverside Center, she was seen in Little Shop of Horrors (Ronnette), Smokey Joe’s Café (Brenda), Into the Woods (Stepmother), Magical Land of Oz (Wicked Witch), It’s a Wonderful Life (Violet, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Congregant). Prior to Covid, she directed the children’s production of Winnie the Pooh. Priya has also made a home at the Fredericksburg Theatre Ensemble performing in Much Ado About Nothing (Ursula), Nevermore (multiple characters), The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? (Stevie), and Bad Seed (Christine Penmark). She also directed FTEs signature series Voices and Vines, and assistant directed Stop Kiss.
