A Dominican artist from Miami, FL, Krysmel Carpio began her dance training at the age of 11. She has trained in a variety of styles, including ballet, pointe, contemporary dance, hip hop, West African, jazz, etc. Krysmel is currently pursuing her BFA in dance and is a rising senior at Florida State University. During her time at FSU, she has performed works by Irvin Gonzalez and Jawole Willa Jo Zollar. She is thrilled to be a part of Brian Brooks’ Footprints cast for ADF’s 90th Anniversary.
