Jeffrey Beecher pursues a varied musical career as both an energetic performer and educator. He performs as Principal Double Bass with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, which he joined in 2006, and serves as Co-Artistic Director of Silkroad and on the faculty of The Glenn Gould School at The Royal Conservatory. Jeffrey began his musical education in New York where he attended The Juilliard School and the Manhattan School of Music. He completed his studies at the Curtis Institute of Music with Harold Robinson and Edgar Meyer.
