Kenneth Overton is a 2020 GRAMMY Award winner for Best Choral Performance for the title role in Richard Danielpour’s The Passion of Yeshua with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by JoAnn Falletta. A two-time Top Ten Billboard charting recording artist, his most recent release, The Living Spiritual, is available on Navona Records.
On the operatic stage, Overton has sung leading roles including Porgy (Porgy and Bess), Amonasro (Aida), Sharpless (Madama Butterfly), and Marcello and Schaunard (La bohème) with major companies worldwide, including the Metropolitan Opera and San Francisco Opera. As a concert soloist, he has appeared with leading orchestras throughout the United States and Europe.
