Frank Ticheli is an acclaimed American composer known for his works for concert band, orchestra, and choir. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Composition from Southern Methodist University and his master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Michigan. He has taught at Trinity University and is currently a Professor of Composition at the University of Southern California (USC) Thornton School of Music. A former composer-in-residence with the Pacific Symphony, Ticheli has received numerous awards, including the National Band Association/Revelli Memorial Prize and the Goddard Lieberson Fellowship. His works, published by Manhattan Beach Music and others, are widely performed and recorded.
