Originally from Washington State, Jaffar Smith is a seasoned professional whose talents span tap, jazz, gymnastics, hip-hop, and commercial dance. After training with Culture Shock Las Vegas, he moved through San Diego’s Urban FX before heading to L.A., where he’s danced and toured with major acts such as MC Hammer, Mariah Carey, Brandy, Ashanti, Omarion, Solange, 3LW, and The Cheetah Girls. Beyond performance, Smith is a respected choreographer and instructor at Movement Lifestyle, Millennium Dance Complex, and Kinjaz Dojo. As part of Photon Krew, his dynamic style and commercial-dance sensibility energize the crew’s synchronized light-suit choreographies.
