Gaetano Amore is a tenor and actor celebrated for his bright, flexible voice, stylistic elegance, and natural stage presence. He earned his master’s degree with highest honors from the “G. Martucci” Conservatory of Salerno and further refined his training at the “Joaquín Rodrigo” Conservatory in Valencia, combining performing with teaching.
He has appeared on stages including the Teatro Verdi in Busseto, honoring Giuseppe Verdi, and the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia, collaborating with distinguished conductors and directors in Italy and abroad.
Winner of the “Ottavio Garaventa—Best Tenor” Award and First Prize Overall at the International “Baronissi Line” Competition (100/100), he has earned acclaim in leading operatic roles such as Almaviva (The Barber of Seville), Gherardo (Gianni Schicchi), Prunier (La Rondine), Libenskof (Il viaggio a Reims), Gérard (Les Enfants terribles), Pulcinella (Pulcinella), and Anchise (La finta giardiniera).
A sensitive interpreter of repertoire from the 16th to the 20th century, he blends musical precision with theatrical vitality, following the finest Italian and Neapolitan vocal traditions.
