Carolina Moratti is a community leader, culinary educator, and nonprofit executive based in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She serves as Executive Director of Sisterwork and is a co-founder of The Promesa Project, where she leads initiatives focused on food access, youth empowerment, and cultural connection.
With a background rooted in both culinary arts and community organizing, she has developed and led programs that teach cooking as a pathway to confidence, entrepreneurship, and healthy living. She has worked with organizations such as the Institute of Music for Children, RWJ Barnabas Health, AARP, and coLAB Arts, creating engaging, hands-on experiences for youth and families across Middlesex County.
She is known for her ability to bring people together—whether through educational workshops, large-scale community events, or collaborative partnerships with local businesses and institutions. Her work often bridges cultures and generations, with a strong emphasis on bilingual outreach and inclusive programming.
In addition to her leadership roles, she is an experienced event host, public speaker, and mentor. She has contributed to initiatives with the State Theatre New Jersey Latino Community Engagement Committee and has supported programs ranging from summer institutes to community shelters.
