Jay Scott is a versatile performing artist and creator based out of Melbourne and Adelaide in Australia. Scott studied at the University of Adelaide within the Elder Conservatorium of Music, graduating with a Bachelor of Music Theatre in 2024. During his training, he most notably appeared as John Brooke/Movement Captain in Little Women (dir. Erin James, 2024) and as Ensemble/Dance Captain in Jesus Christ Superstar (dir. George Torbay, 2024). Most recently, Scott appeared in the Australian National Tour of Bluey’s Big Play as Bandit (dir. Rosemary Myers puppet dir. Jacob Williams, HVK Productions). His other credits include hosting the Bluey Live Interactive Experience in Adelaide and Melbourne (HVK Productions) and appearing as an Acting Extra with The Australian Ballet in Swan Lake (dir. David Hallberg, 2023) and The Sleeping Beauty (dir. David McAllister, 2025). In 2025, Scott made his choreographic debut with Love is a Game: An Adele Song Cycle (dir. Oliver John/Sienna Bertram, 2025/2026) for the Adelaide Fringe Festival, which received both the Holden Street Theatres Award and an Emerging Artist Weekly Award.
