Beginning his career at age 14, Carney’s credits span the musical theater gamut from Show Boat to Chicago to Mamma Mia. In New York, he had the honor of accompanying Tony® Award-winner Daisy Eagan (The Secret Garden) at 54 Below. Carney is the recipient of two Excellence in Musical Direction honors from the American College Theatre Festival (Sunday in the Park with George, Whistle Down the Wind) and holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Ashland University.
