GILES CROFT
Director

GILES CROFT (Director) was appointed artistic director of the Gate Theatre, London, in 1985. In 1989, he joined The National Theatre as literary manager before becoming artistic director of the Palace Theatre, Watford in 1995. Croft was the artistic director of Nottingham Playhouse from 1999 to 2017. Over his career, he has directed more than 50 plays. Croft directed The Kite Runner in 2013 and since then, it has had U.K. and international tours, played two seasons in the West End and completed a successful run on Broadway. He is also  a playwright; his work has been produced widely in the U.K. and Europe.
