After 60 years in the music industry, 27 albums, three Grammy® Awards and many thousands of concerts, beloved singer/songwriter/activist Tom Chapin has maintained two parallel musical careers, both as a respected contemporary folk artist and as a pioneer in the field of children's music. His newest CD, Hold Our Ground, features songs of community, inspiration, friendship, and family. In addition to his work as a recording artist, concert performer, storyteller, and activist, he’s performed on Broadway and worked extensively in television, radio, and film. Tom is on the Board of Directors of WhyHunger and remains active in a variety of environmental causes, issues of hunger and social justice, and is a supporter of music and the arts in public schools.
